Identity Gatherings

The Identity gatherings emerged in response to faculty desires to convene, at times, along particular identities. These informal convenings, open to all, are an opportunity for faculty to come together in community, get to know each other, and share resources and support.

Please also feel free to request a particular gathering.

Please note: These identity gatherings are currently limited to senate faculty members, adjunct faculty, clinical faculty, and cooperative extension specialists.

Participant feedback:

“The Latinx faculty meeting was simply a life saver. I'd been feeling depleted, overworked, and disconnected during Covid and this group was supportive and re-affirming.”

"The Black Faculty Gathering brought participation for adored black womxn senate faculty that I seldom see anymore and others who I had never met -- it was lovely a much needed space for visibility and support."
