Restorative Justice Center Workshops and Consultations

The UC Berkeley Restorative Justice Center (RJ Center) offers mediation and restorative processes in response to conflict and harm. Restorative processes focus on the harm that’s been done, the needs of everyone involved, and ways to move forward and repair relationships and/or communities.

The RJ Center also offers a series of workshops on topics such as unconscious bias, microaggressions or identity harms, restorative approaches, anti-racism, and affinity groups. These workshops are convened with a restorative practices approach that includes community building (developing shared values and agreements for the conversation), and a focus on accountability, deep listening, and ultimately, coming together to develop ideas for cultural and structural change, and better approaches to responding to conflict and harm in the future.
